VideoGuy and its operators are using the up to date Hi-Definition recording technology and streaming software; the Qtake system satisfies the dynamic needs of the consistently evolving productions. We find that with each project the necessity for high class video systems is becoming more and more in demand. Our operators are skilled in what has become the standard for on-set recording. Ranging from a simple one-camera to four-camera recording system and upwards, we can fulfill whatever is required to get the job done with ease.
We have a numerous and diverse range of high-quality monitors to accompany our Qtake recording carts ensuring that the image is the best it can be. With a range from our small 9-inch monitors to our massive 86-inch monitor we can fulfill the viewing demands of each production. Whether it is the director’s cart, producer’s cart, or Director of Photography cart we can satisfy the projects monitoring demands. As the development of the Hi-Definition monitoring continues to make leaps and bounds we make sure to keep the VideoGuy monitor stock current and updated.

We have come a long way in the film business since the actual film days when the only way to obtain an image from the camera itself was to go analogue and plug in a cable. Nowadays the various Hi-Definition wireless systems have made the film industry extremely streamlined and efficient. There are incredible systems that can reach far distances with minimal delay and break up; fortunately, VideoGuy happens to have these efficient and current systems. Ranging from the various Teredek wireless systems for the shorter distances, the Cinevue microwave systems that can reach extremely far distances (great for car-to-car shots) and the new DJI systems that are being used by the drone teams the major productions employ today. We also have devices that enhance the streaming capability of the Qtake software to reach throughout an entire set, enabling the crew and production to view the project on their own Mac OS device. We must mention that with the Qtake software you can potentially view a production essentially anywhere in the world if there is a reliable internet source.
You cannot have an arsenal of wireless transmission systems without having the wireless monitors to accompany them. Indeed, VideoGuys does have it all! We have an ample supply of Ipads to go along with our many Qtake carts. As you can see, the director of photography and director themselves use these as a must have tool to get their job done in the best way possible. With little or no delay these wireless monitor setups are guaranteed to help productions get through their day in a timely manner. We have more than just Ipads for Qtake; we also have several Teredek wireless monitor rigs, along with a long-range Cinevue microwave handheld (for when the Teredek just isn’t enough) and several DJI handheld monitor setups that can be used for both short range and the longer ranges too.
